About Us

Objectives

  • To foster, protect, and promote the welfare and interest of all members of the Oklahoma State Troopers Association 
  • To encourage and promote the constant improvement of public service rendered by the Oklahoma State Troopers Association 
  • To foster and encourage a higher degree of professionalism, efficiency and the cultivation of friendship among its members. 
  • The promotion of harmonious relations between all members of the Oklahoma State Troopers Association


Our Background

The Oklahoma State Troopers Association was founded in 1974 to represent the men and women of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and is dedicated to ensuring that the best possible working conditions are achieved for all troopers and communications officers. 

The Mission

For Oklahoma to equitably compensate the law enforcement officers of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.  There is a need to increase compensation of OHP troopers to offset attrition and to recruit and retain quallified cadets.
